Dr. Oliver Decker, a Partner at Deloitte Legal, has been appointed as a new member of the Supervisory Board at Super Global Spezialinvestment AG. „We are delighted to have gained an exceptionally experienced expert for our company's control function,“ said Daniel Knoblach, Managing Director of Super Global GmbH.
Currently a partner and Head of Investment Management at Deloitte Legal, Oliver Decker will assume the position of Head of Financial Services at Grant Thornton Legal in July. Decker is an experienced legal professional who formerly practiced at various international law firms and worked as in-house counsel at a leading German asset management firm.
Oliver Decker has extensive experience in regulatory and investment law, notably in direct and indirect investments in regulated and unregulated AIFs for institutional investors. He focuses on structuring multinational investment and financing solutions, particularly in the areas of credit, PE, infrastructure and real estate funds as well as securitisation vehicles.

As a regulatory expert, Decker is a member of the pan-European AIFMD core team appointed by the European Commission and DG FISMA to perform a study on the impact of the AIFMD on AIF managers. “The finance sector is dynamic and always evolving. It’s fascinating to see where companies, particularly younger ones, are heading. I am glad to be able to perform the supervisory function at Super Global, but I am also ready to serve as an advisor in this capacity”, says Decker.
